Killian is an engineer with an MS in computer science and applied knowledge of system optimization using neural networks and genetic algorithms. Killian has consulted or sold software to utilities for over 18 years. He was responsible for energy platform sales at Oracle Utilities and business development at Uptake (the fastest growing startup of 2015 according to Forbes, beating Slack and Uber).

Yvette has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Florida State University. She went on to work at Cisco as a Test Development Engineer, and then flexed her artistic talents as Lead Designer at Price.com. Yvette has previously helped Walgreens with their global website. Her visual direction and UX expertise guides our customer facing and utility platform.

Alan has 30 years of experience in telecommunications, embedded software and security. He has been working on blockchain based solutions for the past two years. Alan was co-founder, president and CTO of Icon Labs, an embedded systems security company acquired by Sectigo (formerly Comodo CA), the world’s largest commercial Certificate Authority and provider of purpose-built, automated PKI solutions. Prior to founding Icon Labs, he worked for AT&T Bell Labs and Motorola. Alan has an MS in computer science from Northwestern University.

Alex graduated from Duke University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2009. Mr Maki-Jokela has worked with Allston and Enphase energy in roles developing software for power equipment. He has experience in integrating hardware with software including machine learning toolkits and blockchain/distributed ledger integrations. Mr Maki-Jokela has worked as a software developer for over 10 years and has first hard experience leading the integration of our system with the public Stellar distributed ledger network and adding smart contracts support to enable device-initiated certificate verification.

Dan is a former graphic designer, leading interface design for Walgreens and art direction for Sears. He was hired as a developer at Uptake where he led the core UI development. The UI-kit he built was used across 12 sprint teams and is still leveraged today. Dan is responsible for our front end development on our customer facing and utility platform.

Lynne has led the way in envisioning and designing the utility platform of the future. Lynne is an Associate Professor of Instruction in Economics at Northwestern University. Her research focuses on the effect of regulatory institutions and their incentives on innovation and technological change, particularly in the electric power industry. Lynne is an emeritus member of the Gridwise Architecture Council and is responsible for guiding Omega Grid market implementations.

Massimo is a quantum physicist, previously responsible for big data analytics of quantum chromodynamics at the Fermilab accelerator laboratory in Illinois. Massimo is a software engineer at SpaceX, an Elected Fellow of the Python Software Foundation and the Chief Architect of web2py. Massimo was responsible for the application design and development of the Omega Grid software platform. He now is an advisor to Omega Grid.

Seyi is a power engineer, the founder of Power2Switch, Booth School of Business alum and prolific writer. As the VP of Innovation and Partnerships for the Clean Energy Trust, he led their investment process, managed partnerships with national research labs and supported the CET portfolio companies.

Keith was formerly the General Electric VP of Digital Product Management for Distribution and Grid Modernization. He also served as the SVP of Global Turbines R&D for Vestas and held executive positions at Xcel Energy and Sempra. Keith's global experience in cutting edge utility technology adds a unique perspective to the Omega Grid team.

John is a utility networking expert with over 25 years of experience in utility communication technology and smart metering solutions. As the former Chief Solutions Architect of eMeter, SVP of UISOL, and CTO of Cellnet, John has pushed the practical boundary of innovation at utility scale. John is responsible for guiding the design and deployment of the Omega Grid communication network.
